Portrait Art Commissions:
(Please contact me directly if you have questions, concerns, or just need more information before purchasing a commissioned piece from me)
Whether you're looking for a unique art piece featuring your furry best friend or need a self-portrait for your own branding or personal needs, below are some details about what I offer.
My pet portrait commissions are digitally hand-drawn and colored, fully rendered and realistic. This price is for a highly detailed digital portrait of one animal on a basic background. The cost of printing is included in the price and there will not be discounts offered if you choose to just receive the digital file. If you choose to have your commission printed and sent to you - you will receive it in a clear, protective cello bag with a cardboard backing.
"Digi-Me Portraits" Head and bust, with the option to add in details to go with your business. These will be delivered as a digital product only for you to use right away in your branding and social media. Turn around time for "Digi-Me" portraits is 3-6 days.
How long will the Pet Portraits take?
Due to the attention to detail, the estimated turnaround time for portraits is 2-4 weeks depending on complexity. Contact me if you have a special delivery date in mind and we can work together to fit your timeline.
What is required to have a pet portrait commission?
The best portraits start with a clear, well-contrasted photo of your pet. Eye-level is best and take in good lighting. Blurry, dark, odd-angled pictures will be difficult to see the details and true colors of eyes and fur. If you send pictures I cannot use, I will contact you and we can work together to get better pictures.
Will I get to see my commission before it's finished?
Yes! I will send you two proofs throughout the process but please be aware by the time you see these - changes will be limited! Just like a painting on physical canvas, once I get to a certain point the only way to make big changes would be to start over. Don't worry, I will be open and honest with you about what can be changed at that time.
